Minerva Bellorín was founder, partner, and member of the Board of Directors of the regional firm in Central America, ACZALAW Abogados Centroamericanos Asociados, in 2002, and at the same time, founder and president of the board of directors of ACZALAW Nicaragua, where she currently serves as Legal Advisor and Director. In her position, she has been responsible for leading the firm’s direction and management, strengthening the ACZALAW brand inside and outside Nicaragua. 

 

Ms. Bellorín has over 25 years of experience advising foreign investors who settle in Nicaragua. Her practice focuses on Corporate and Commercial Law, Societal, Tax, Contracts, Mergers and Acquisitions, Intellectual Property, processes of Legal Audits, Private and Public Contracting, Communications and New Technology Law, Consumer and Digital Advertising Law; Distribution, representation and agency agreements, licensing and joint ventures; Consortia and Real Estate Law. In addition, she assists in the coordination and management of legal services to clients who require it in a particular matter.  

 

She is a Lawyer and Notary Public, authorized by the Supreme Court since 1995.

She thrives in her profession since she is a curious, creative person; immersing herself in her clients' core business in order to provide personalized and adequate attention to the particular needs of each and one of them, always adding value as a strategic ally. Moreover, Bellorín places particular importance on expanding and updating her knowledge, as she is continuously training in the field of new technologies and their impact on the digital environment. Along with her successful legal work and always undertaking new challenges as a business lawyer, she advocates for teamwork and the development of soft skills to complement her legal knowledge and technical ability.

Furthermore, Bellorín constantly engrosses herself in training, studies, and continuous updating; ranging from postgraduate degrees to diploma courses in different areas that contribute to her solidity in her legal practice at the macro level. As a business legal expert in different economic sectors, she provides guidance and advice that are complementary to the execution of the day-to-day activities of any company that does business in Nicaragua, whether it’s in tax, banking, registration, Digital Law, digital marketing, commercial law, commercial accounting, and others. In addition, she studied Management of Law Firms in 2017  

 

She belongs to the following national and international associations:

  • Representative of Women in the Profession (WIP) of the Vance Center of NY, representative for Nicaragua, 2016-2017.
