Forty-three years working as a Legal Professional Practitioner, with emphasis on Constitutional, Civil, Commercial, and Notarial Law, he has developed further experience and studies in international humanitarian law and human rights, international law and criminal law.
He was an in-house counsel to important business groups and institutions for the public sector, having served as Second District Criminal Judge.
He has twenty-five years of academic experience as a Professor, Member of the Superior Council since its foundation in the Catholic University Redemptoris Mater where he has been Dean of the Faculty of law and social sciences.
He graduated with the Degree as Doctor in Law at the Universidad Centroamericana in Managua in 1975 and incorporated as Lawyer and Notary before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of Nicaragua in 1976.
